Pressure Washer purchase

I'm looking to purchase a pressure washer in the near future. I plan on one with a Honda engine and Cat pump, 3gpm/2500psi.
In the Baton Rouge area, I have priced them at Bozeman Distributors and Hydro-quip. Both seem to have the same thing, but Hydroquip is a good bit cheaper. Does anyone have any experience dealing with these two? Reasons to choose one over the other, or are they pretty much the same?

Yeah. I read those. My question was if anyone had experience dealing with the two retailers I asked about, not which one to buy. But thanks.

I’ve bought larger ones from both and have no complaints with either. Hydro Quip has made up some specialty piping and fittings as well and good at that. All things being even buy the cheaper price.

What did you end up going with? I'm in the exact same boat as you were.

I bought the Honda 3000 PSI and Sams last week. Also bought the concrete scrubbing attachment. Works great

go more than 2500 I bought a 2700 and wish I would have went over the 3K mark

What did it not do that you were hoping for? Just curious.

Hydro-quip is cheaper on dang near everything, easier to get someone on the phone and they work hard for their customers. Bozeman has a more convenient location.

It looks like approximately $175 difference between the two. However, based on the information they have given me, the Hydro is 60lbs heavier than the one over at Bozeman with same specs. I can't see how, but I'd pay the extra $175 to be able to lift it and put it in the back of the truck myself.

I got mine from Bozeman a few years ago. Works great. Two things I like about it are the fact that you can service the pump when needed and it allows you to easily drain the carburetor if you are going to store it for awhile. It starts every time!

What size did you go with?

GPM is more important than PSI. If you have the money, buy a 4GPM unit at the minimum. More water helps all the way around.

I’ve owned pressure cleaners for 35 years. Best thing you can do is buy a good one with a dependable engine and a brand name pump. Learn how to rebuild a pump because they will fail long before the engine.
