If Cards take Murry would you trade for Rosen?

Pros- 1) ridiculously low salary next 2 yrs (since his bonus is paid by AZ something roughly around 1.5-2 would be what's due next 3 years ).

2) potentially solves Brees issue for maybe next years 1st ( obtaining a high draft pick would cost a ton to get into top 5-10 to get a shot at next year's qbs

3) good upside and he will have experience as opposed to rookie

Cons - dude is a known prick

If we can get him for next years third sure. But I don't think at this point anything higher will be worth it.

I think so as well. What would you trade? I'd give next year's 1 and 3. A Brees' replacement will be a minimum of probably 2 1s to just get up there or overpaying a free agent $20 mill a year or more.

I have been reading that the Cards are going to keep him. I think the Pats would be in play if they are thinking about trading him.

Nope, they will get raped and will accept it..

Why in hell should we give up a 1st for a QB they gave up on after a year .... to draft a qb?

Lol take this 3rd or nothing

This.

now WHAT exactly we trade is anybody's guess. But If we could somehow get him for the late second and have FOUR years of rookie deal I'd take it in a heartbeat. The guy is a prick but he's not dumb, he should be able to learn from Brees in his final years.

Rosen looked and played terrible last year

no way in hell he is worth a 1st or 2nd rounder and Arizona knows it which is why they want to move on.

If he wasnt drafted 10th overall would anyone even think a 3rd was justifiable? The acquisition would solely be based on upside that has not shown up anywhere on a NFL field to date

You can not sugar coat
55.2% Completion
2,278 Yards
11 TDs
14 INTs
10 Fumbles
45 Sacks
66.7 QBR

there will be no "hot" QB coming for the saints

hill is your backup and insurance policy for the next 3 years at least and if we are lucky, he might begin to emerge as a true starting QB prospect.

he has talent and skill if he can get there mentally

i think his biggest weakness/negative right now is the ability to make fast decisive reads during plays to go through his progressions

the saints bring in a QB its going to be for a #3 backup role

Taysom Hill is notnthe future QB. He’s a nice situational player, he’s not what you want at QB

Pretty similar to Drew's stats from his 3rd year in the league. The Cardinals had nothing but Fitz on his last legs and a ruined David Johnson.

Hell no dude is an outspoken leftist. Might ruin my Saints fanhood if he is starting QB and speaking out against TRUMP during the 2020 season.

They also had Christian kirk.

The issue is the OL is arse.

Taysom is great but I agree that he's not the future. Josh Rosen is not either though. If Brees went down in a game (God forbid) I'd feel better about our chances with Hill than Josh Rosen though. People can argue all day about his " bad situation " in zona but the dude just sucks.

Kirk was a pretty good rookie but if he's supposed to be a big factor for them as a rookie that's an issue. And yes, the OL is trash too.
