Is Woodrow Wilson the most overrated American president?

Seriously, the guy consistently ranks in the top 10 best U.S. presidents. Why?
1.) He was racist.
2.) The League of Nations was created to establish world peace which has proven to be pretty unrealistic in the grand scheme of things. It did nothing to prevent foreign wars from happening.
3.) The Treaty of Versailles was a MASSIVE failure and is often cited by scholars as the reason for the rise of aggressive fascism/socialism in Germany. Seriously, some people argue that WWII might never have happened if the Treaty of Versailles had been less harsh on Germany.
4.) The Soviet Union was formed during his presidency in the Russian Revolution. War, genocide, and dictatorships would soon follow.
5.) Fourteen Points-- another effort for post-war peace-- was clearly another massive failure as was his entire foreign policy agenda.
6.) Established the Federal Reserve which did nothing to protect the economy from the Great Depression. In fact, some people point to the Fed's monetary policy at that time as the reason for the Great Depression.
So he was basically a progressive liberal in his domestic agenda and a huge loser in foreign policy. You could point to his presidency as the source of a lot of America's hardships

Progessive liberals make these lists, so consider the source.
Trust no one, question everything!

Because he was a liberal. Seriously, the guy ruined America.

He’s generally considered a bottom 5 president by everyone who is not a Lunatic.
Seriously there are a tremendous amount of historians who brutalize him. Horrendous president.

It seems like any mention of him that I come across is some historian trying to defend him as less of an incompetent disaster than he's generally remembered.

Woodrow Wilson is one of, if not THE worst president. He was arrogant enough to think his own ideas were superior to the founding fathers and he's the father of this 'progressive' horseshite. frick Wilson.

Let's also not forget he was incapacitated by a stroke in 1919 and his wife actually ran the country for the duration of his second term. This entire event was covered up by his doctor and wife.

As much as I hate to say, more than likely the most influential president ever. The pubs and dems are both off shots off his thinking, if you look at it. The neocons are without doubt are of wilson's thinking and the dims are all in on his progressive thinking.. Wilson most dangerous president ever and his thinking is thriving in both parties...

The other school of thought was it wasn't harsh enough. Maybe WW3 didn't happen was because after WW2 post war Germany was actually conquered and occupied.

The libs are trying to rename a school (currently named after him) in DC or Baltimore because he was a racist. Sounds like you guys should join them in protesting

He absolutely should have kept the U.S. out of WWI like he promised in his 1916 election campaign.

No, there was a certain inertia that led to our entrance.

Agree 100%. He was the father of idealism. Pretty much set the table for neocons/neolibs
