Well, for all you folks blaming us boomers for your woes, what are you going to do with all our money we will be leaving you?

Baby boomers, the richest generation in history, are aging and preparing to pass down a record-breaking amount of assets.

Nearly 45 million U.S. households will hand down about $68.4 trillion over the course of the next quarter-decade, according to research and consulting firm Cerulli Associates, a phenomenon known as the “great wealth transfer.”

Of that $68 trillion, Generation X – those born between about 1965 and 1980 – stands to gain the largest share of that wealth at 57 percent. Millennials are also expected to get a sizable chunk – the cohort surpassed baby boomers as the largest living generation during recent years, though the latter is still the richest. Baby boomers control at least 70 percent of all disposable income in the U.S.

You didn't earn that but I'm sure you'll gladly spend it

I think most will recognize it as a form of "white privilege" and transfer it to the more deserving dysfunctional masses.

Speaking of us boomers. Consumer Cellular offers the identical plan that I was paying my well known cellular company $180 a month. Consumer Cellular is $45 a month for the same damn thing.

Is AARP membership worth a bigger discount? Day makin money off the grand pads.

We should be using it to pay down the $20 trillion debt accumulated during the Boomers' lifetime.

I'll be sure and tell my heirs to do just that. I'm sure they'll oblige.

I’m sure they will just hand the money over to the government to spend it better than they will.

Actually, I've been thinking about doing the same. Just wasn't sure if it was as good as it sounded. If it's good enough for ca it's good enough for Sick.

Bingo

Boomers have created generations of debt SLAVES. Nationally and personally.
The Kings and Queens of credit, debauchery, and selfishness. America's worst generation by far. Hands down.

You seem to be a little edgy tonight. You don't have enough money to go out on the town? I know where you can get a loan.

You can port your number over, but I got so pissed off at my carrier after over 14 years with them-I left and got a new number because I was so got danged sick of the robo calls. It will take the telemarketers that minic numbers awhile to find me.

Nah... I'm good. I will give you Boomers a sliver of credit for an accidental by-product. While y'all were burning your bras and abandoning your home duties to have two incomes, you did create some independent latch-key creative problem-solving kids to fix the disaster we have today.

frick you

I have never voted for any of that shite except for the innumerable times I have voted for the lesser of 2 evils.

frick it, I am going to die before the shite really hits the fan and I am going to in my own little way drain as much old folks benefits as possible. I would advise everybody in my age cohort to do the same God damned thing. We have followed those assholes who came of age in the 60's and now we have to listen to the whining of the asshats younger than us.
