I know there is lots of domestic news gobbling up all the air time, but can I get cliffs on what is happening in our northern neighbor?

It would be very sweet if Trudeau is forced out and trump gets through unscathed

Sounds like Trudeau doesn't know how to speak in code and this woman has the foundation required to not be pushed around.

I deal with Canadians every day, all the way from Surrey to Montreal (that's the US equivalent of Cali to Maine).

I get a lot of mixed results when it comes to Trudeau...

Most the times it usually ends up at I wish you guys would lower your tarriffs

So they might not be fond of their leader, but we are effecting their pocket book so that's usually what I hear about. Not my fault though, should have brought a better negotiating squad.

BBC had a synopsis on the events:

LINK

Basically he and other cabinet officials pressures his AG to drop criminal proceedings against a large Canadian engineering firm. same firm has been accused of illegal contributions to Lieral and conservative party (mostly to liberal party) and has alos been accused of bribery in getting international contracts. World Back has disbarred them from bidding work....

his former AG testified to house of commons recently and shite has hit the fan....

EDIT: to add former, as he Fired her before media got wind of the whole situation

Justin Trudeau gave away the farm on USMCA and let Mexico negotiate the Canada end of the deal in addition to their own.

And that's because Trudeau thought Mexico would join him in hating Trump and refuse to do a deal. And that backfired because Mexicans are far more interested in actual business, not the virtue signaling bleating that Trudeau was doing and they saw an opening with Canada acting like morons.

That's a special level of incompetence and piss poor leadership representing and acting on Canada's behalf.

Democrats here admire and want to copy that kind of stupidity.

Trudeau’s resignation

Well, to be fair, he would just be resigning as Prime Minister of CANADA. That's not a real country, anyway.

Hell, it would be giving up more to resign as Mayor of Paincourtville, LA, no?
