That has been happening for decades, champ. Do you have any data to back up your ridiculous assertions, or are you just running your mouth about something you don't like?

Oh Jesus Christ how dare another American express an opinion you don’t like! I didn’t like Clint Eastwood going to the RNC and mumbling to a chair about nonsense but I still go see his movies because he’s good at it. This tired persecution complex from the right because someone with a microphone expresses a view they disagree with is so pathetic

It doesn't look terrible, but I do think they could have picked a better actress than Brie for the roll.

Why do you care so much about what movies kids like? Why is that such a terrible thing if lil girls get excited about a movie?

See that is where I am at too. I mean marvel has been on the money with every casting decision so far. I assume they are going with the strong female figure for this and this Larson chick just doesn't fit the bill at all imo.

There are about five other actresses that would have been a much better fit. Hell I would have taken that Emma Watson who played Hermione over this lady and she isn't even considered a bad arse. But what do I know

And they sit around scratching their heads as to why people aren't going to movies anymore

The last 2 Marvel movies besides AntMan made a billion. Believe me when I say Marvel head guys arent worried 1 bit about bringing people in to the movies.

Cool story, Jussie.

Because I enjoy good movies and would be happier if there more of them made, and fewer shallow, superficial movies that merely pander to an identity group.

Ah see I don't really read the comics but that sounds like a VERY interesting take on it. I am all about that outcome if that is the case.

It just seems off that marvel would cast someone with that lack of charisma. Hopefully your prediction is true.

I will say that I saw her in Kong and was not impressed at all. That movie as a whole was disappointing though...

Would it have been less "yacky" if Emily Blunt had delivered it?

Well relatively speaking no one does.

Totally. "No one" is spending record money on movies anymore.

Either you like comic book movies or you don't. Don't get mad because there are plenty of us out here who do enjoy comic movies.

So you’re mad that young girls are excited at seeing a girl super hero? Who the frick cares?

I'm not mad at anything. If they made a good movie I wouldn't care.

There's some variation on that in literally every single incarnation.

Here's a brief synopsis of just a few.

idk. It's probably the combination of a terrible line plus a wooden delivery that makes it so terrible
