ESPN is still not finished. Has only 21 signed for LSU. And 24/7 is, in part, but significantly based on ESPN's numbers.

LSU had a #3 recruiting ranking per Rivals. I buy that.

[24/7 & ESPN are DQ'd for incomplete data. Scout also appears to be skewed by 24/7 numbers, but at least has LSU at #4.]

247 in their own rankings has us at 4

And we’d probably be #4 in the composite if eapn got their shite together.

So overall damn strong class. Really good stuff.

I'd stick with the composite as the most accurate ranking, but we did get some recruits downgraded the last few weeks because they didn't attend certain services' camps. So #5 is likely the most accurate ranking.

Really? Even though a huge piece of that particular "composite" ranking is missing? LOL. Suit yourself.

I'm pretty sure LSU will be #4 in composite also. A&M is currently #4 but from what I understand two of the players listed as commits for them will not attend school there. Not yet anyway.

Hey, I'm just trying to be fair. I will say this. If you look at the rankings Bama is by themselves followed by UGA by a nice margin. 3-10 are separated by very little so where you rank in that group really is more for bragging rights than any real disparity in recruiting.

If it changes, great. I'll stand corrected, but like I said in the following post, positions 3-10 have minimal separation.

Yeah I remember reading that on the RB. If that happens sure it will move positions around.

There is no "Composite" until ESPN shows LSU's final signings (don't hold your breath for that)

The only complete 2019 ranking is Rivals - and LSU is #3.

Hopefully we can move a few receivers to defensive end by 2020.

With the pace of attrition and lack of recruiting top end talent at the position.

247 has us at 4.

Rivals has us at 3.

so I'll go with 3.5.

ESPN should not be included in the composite, and really de-legitimizes it with their product.

What happens when the baseball kid goes pro? Can you update that then?
Also, can you update the 2017 class with Cotton leaving?
Thanks

If Hampton goes pro then they'll have an open spot for a juco or transfer. It may can be rolled over for an extra spot next class. Hampton projects at safety which LSU is in pretty good shape at. Corner was looking a little thin but should be ok now.

Cotton could be a process. We just don't know.

I dont Think we’d have a spot in this class and we couldn’t backsign next class.

He signed whether he shows up or not doesn’t change it was my impression

Do you really want to do that bc you could take the 2015 class and remove 5 star Teuhema, 5 star Tolliver, 4 star OT OKeke and 4 star Jazz Ferguson? You can play this game with every class and I doubt you will be happy with the outcome.
