Granny always put bleach in our bath water to get rid of red bugs.
You do realize they live in YOUR BED right?

Don't underwear multiple days in a row, wipe your arse properly, and if you are working outside and get sweaty underwear take a shower as soon as you are done and put on new underwear.
No need for a bleach bath.

He said RED, not bed bugs. He means chiggers, and they live in the woods and on blackberry/dewberry bushes.

This sounds like a bad time for the pee hole.

Not me, but my son when he was 2ish, started getting reactions from diapers. would get abscesses all over his butt, no matter what diapers I used or how often I changed his diaper. The first time it happened, I made a mistake of using butt paste because I thought it was diaper rash, BIG mistake. It turned into staph like boils all over his poor butt.
That is actually what his doctor told us to do. poor a cap full of bleach in his bath water. Needless to say, we started potty training early and never had the problem again.

If you notice a staph infection starting to form rub a little neosporin in your nostrils at night.

I just inject the bleach to really shock my system. Usually once every couple months.

I do it from time to time. When I get red bugs or poison ivy. Usually clears it up.

Nvr heard of this. Interesting. I like these random old school medical solutions that get forgotten. My parents had a bunch growing up, so always interests me hearing new ones.
So do you dunk your head if it's in your nose? Does it do anything to your hair? Head and or body.
Wondering what else this can help with, and if HydroPeroxide would do a similar thing.

No. But I have heard it works for eczema.

How the frick does that even happen...?
I work in a hospital and deal with pt's with staph all the time, and never had one staph infection...
Ever been swabbed for staph? I've seen some pretty nasty petri dishes of salt resistant staph come off of mouth swabs of nurses. You could have developed a resistance to staph, and not even know you're a carrier.

I only do it to kill redbugs if I spend time in the woods during summer

I can tell you without a doubt that neosporin will not kill staph. If you don't already have staph colonization inside your nose then rubbing neosporin nightly in your nose would probably do a decent job of preventing its growth but it's not killing any existing staph. Mupirocin would kill it but that is Rx only.

No, I do not dunk my head but it wouldn't hurt due to the low concentration in a tub full of water. It's only slightly stronger than a freshly chlorinated pool. The point of the bleach bath is to decolonize your skin so if it's anywhere else on your body then it will kill it so that if you get any kind of opening on your skin where it is, you won't get an infection.
