76ers get: Tobias Harris, Boban, and Mike Scott

Clips get: Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, 2 1sts and 2 2nds

So if Tobias is worth 2 1st rounders, including one probably in the lottery, the 4 first round picks for AD looks hella reasonable now.

I do agree, I think the pelicans are being very smart by seeing what other teams get on the market for other players, and in turn use that in negotiations. Forces LAL to give up literally everything, or gives them flexibility to get Tatum or whatever NYK can offer if they can first pick. If they wait til summer, I think it pays off much more just in terms of deals like this raising market

If Tobias Harris is worth 2 first rounders and other players, the Lakers shouldn’t have a first round pick until 2030

I don't know, the Clippers got screwed on that trade. I'm not sure a screwjob trade sets a market.

And the Lakers have no more to give.

In the short game yes. Clippers are playing the long game. The Sixers are seriously giving their assets away to beat Milwaukee. They aren't winning a title. Harris could, and likely does, bolt. Butler too.

Chandler is an average player. Shamet is young with some promise, but may never start. Muscala is a bench guy. Those picks will be 27-30.

The Sixers got an allstar and their starting lineup is now 4 allstars and JJ Redick. Scott is at least the level of Shamet or Muscala as a rotation guy.

Who is the all-star you speak of?

Tobias is expiring, Clippers were not resigning him at the max.
Are the 76ers all in for this year? Are they about to lock themselves into Harris and Butler?
In what world is that Miami pick in the 27-30 range?

Harris is allstar level, he just had Dirk take that spot.

Yeah, they're clearly going hard at this year with intent to use a run this year to better their chances with Butler and Harris.

My fault on the picks, I thought they were both Sixers picks. The Heat pick is a better asset.

Tobias was not signing a new deal with the Clippers. The Clippers got Shamet, an okay role player, and multiple picks for a guy who was leaving them for nothing in a few months. They also will fall out of the playoffs and keep their lotto pick this year. This is a brilliant deal for LAC.
