The racing on Sunday will be completely different. It'll be hot and slick and drivers will be willing to take more chances.

I bet we see a lot of this same thing for 90% of the race.

Let's hope so, this is boring as frick. Rather watch the ARCA boys wreck their shite and sit through caution laps than this. Reminds me of the spring 1997 Dega race that Mark Martin won. No cautions, single file pretty much whole race...snooze fest

Chase is the only one even attempting to race.

I thought if Busch would’ve went with Chase there with 3 laps to go they might’ve had something going. Didn’t go for some reason with him.

Good move by Logano.

Logano wins, the racing is a joke. 498 laps of single file racing coming on Sunday.

People were yelling the same thing after the duels in 2017, and the 500 was a demolition derby.

Why NASCAR continues to bring shite packages to their Super Bowl never ceases to amaze me. They'll check/over adjust more than likely for Dega.

Ford 1-2-3 in both duels. In case you need a hint on the winner on Sunday

I may be seeing it wrong but the fords look like the rear bumper is way closer to the ground then the Chevy’s or Toyota’s. Especially Joey’s car.

To be fair, teams spend all winter locking the package down as much as possible. Nascar will change it up but it doesnt take teams long to get to the limit of the design and then we get racing where no one can pass. Rinse, repeat.

Yeah but follow the leader in a single line except for a half a lap ain't racing. I appreciate protecting your car but to me it's more telling that the race package is sh!t come Sunday if you aren't willing to even pull out of line and experiment. I'll be spending money to go to Darlington vs Dega this year.

The racing was shite but FWIW there’s a significantly different package the rest of the plate races after the 500

In fact they aren’t even using plates but a more tapered spacer to slow them down

That Unrivaled special was fairly decent, not great, for most of it. I guess there’s just not a lot of new Information out there left for a diehard like myself but that ending with Jeff at the Statue In Kannapolis

The Truck race is tonight. That's often the best Daytona race.

Will watch LSU baseball and record trucks for late-night viewing with high BAC.

The only downside is they'll probably have the other Waltrip yapping throughout it.

Didnt even know that was a thing. I would have watched that. Anyone know when they're re-airing it?

I went to that race. Mark Martin drove 500 miles in less time than it took me to drive from the parking lot to I-20 after the race.
