Waters is a great PG but that alleyoop attempt was full retard and cost LSU the game.

If he just hangs on to the ball there, Arky probably has to foul and the LSU victory is secured for all intents and purposes. Live by the Waters, die by the Waters? I don't know but I hope Wade is getting his mind right for MSU.

Why does everyone keep saying Arkansas to foul? All they have to do is play straight up and get a stop. You idiots act like the shot clock was turned off

LSU lost by 1 point. One play didn't cost LSU the game.

Not that it would have been a good decision either, but a 28 foot 3-point attempt at that exact time would have been a higher percentage play for him.

Waters is not very good at throwing alley oops. Taylor has bailed him out on a few bad passes, but he has been way off the mark most of the time this season.

Absolutely. And even if you miss the three, there's the potential for the rebound and the reset shot clock. Would have still been a bad decision but at least would have made some sense.

False. There would have been 20 seconds left and if we hit a 2, we're still only up 3. No way, no how would Arky have to foul. Just BS

My only beef with it is that he did it from like half court. Chances of error go way up.

This was more true in our early season losses when he had duds vs FSU, OKST and Houston, but as our Freshmen have matured, that has become less true.
He was bad against Mizzou and had a bad game again last night. They beat Mizzou and should have won last night despite his poor play.

Yet if he connects with it, you would be saying how great Waters is and how awesome that play was.

really ? LSU had the last possession with 22 seconds remaining. They missed 3 makeable shots that could have secured the win. Waters alley-oop was a poor decision yet it did NOT cost LSU the game.

Arkansas had 18 TOs. LSU had 21.
