I'm looking for a house with 4 bedrooms in a relatively good neighborhood. I don't need top tier schools or luxury stores nearby. I'm mainly looking at safety. I'm not sure how to communicate what I want with my real estate agents, but I'll eventually set up an appointment soon.

Looking for something like this
122 Sherwin Avenue

I'm looking for something between 200K to 300k. I'd prefer a 4 bedroom house because I want enough room for my future family.

This is my first time buying a home. I'm excited but I afraid because I realize alot of fraudulent selling tactics are ongoing. Any advice on real estate agents would be appreciated.

EDIT: sorry I thought the previous Huntsville thread was already anchored.

Looks like a wonderful house and nice plan you have Volod.

With real estate now, see if you can go in the county assessor's site, look up the address, see what it last sold for and your real estate should speak with you about comparable "comps" in the neighborhood you are looking at.

That is literally a brand new neighborhood. I believe it is in the county, so better schools then in Huntsville City limits on this side if town. Surrounding neighborhoods are nice, and would definitely consider it safe. As long as you are West of research park Blvd you will be fine.

Close to arsenal if you work out there, but traffic can be annoying these days. They are about to finish an overpass one street over which should help with your commute

Good luck!

As a fellow new home buyer (2 years) my advice would be to pay top dollar for an inspector and prepare to spend more time and money than you ever expected on maintenance and upgrading things.

You’ve now removed all doubt that you are, indeed, an idiot.

How about you buy for yourself within your means. And if you’re really worried about your future family, why not look into a place with top tier schools?

If you are thinking about having a future family, then you need to consider schools. Where are you going to be working? You can find a house in Madison for that price range.
