For all you law baws.

Why did the ticket holders file it as a class action? You only need one ticket holder to seek an injunction, and surely you could have found one who was nondiverse. Then they could have kept it in CDC, which might actually have given them an injunction.

Filing it as a class action gives them a slam dunk removal under the Class Action Fairness Act. You are all but guaranteeing you will be in federal court.

Just my $.02.

Morgan has let it drag out far longer than I thought she ever would.

This is what happens when people of a state are brainwashed into thinking that everything deserves to be a lawsuit. Thanks, Gordon.

The fact that lawyers are sucking money out of this deal isn't going to change the fact that the game will not be replayed.

What kind of precedent would that set?

Season ticket holder here. Who will have to fork over the money if there was a class action? The saints or nfl. I don’t want money back if it’s coming out of the Saints organization...

Just wow. What a bigoted statement. And I’m sure there were plenty of “nondiverse” people in the suit.

No matter where it is filed or how it is styled, the suit is untenable and will be dismissed.

Amusing to me is the firm/attorney the NFL choose to represent it.

Isn’t there mandatory arbitration for NFL ticket holders?

Or just accept that you got beat. Now this is like watching the end of Trading Places with one Duke having a heart attack and the other screaming turn those machines back on.

Because the attorney, Frank D'Amico. knows he can get free publicity for the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl and not have to pay a penny for it. You can't buy that kind of advertising. He's just being opportunistic.
