It has 100% to do with the assumption that Wade should have all the credit for LSU's great record and the players should have no credit. I would say that the players are far more important than the coach in basketball.

Johnny Jones had the number 1 pick in the draft, plus another 5 star player at the same time. And another team with two future NBA draft picks. Don’t tell me this is about the players

Plus you can get into the argument of whether the players actually are more important. Maybe for a coach like Calipari. But Coach K has had great teams with very little talent. The difference between a good coach and a bad coach is massive. Plus you devalue the part of coaching that is getting your players ready to play. We know JJ didn’t make them do much free throw practice, while Wade has them shooting free throws at one of the highest rates in school history

So are you going to give all or the majority of the blame to the players when they lose?

Oh yeah I agree

Having the #1 pick in the NBA draft along with another future NBA guard and STILL missing the tournament can't possibly be the fault of the coach

Tigers are on a roll. Great to see the young talented Tigers that WW has recruited. Hope they give Tennessee all they can handle but I don't think they'll stay with them. Sadly I pick Tennessee 91-75. Would be happy to be wrong!
