Offense was good enough to win 12 games

Not to mention with an average at best OL. Below average, than the norm, at the RB position and a QB who showed up months before the season started. I'd say Slinger doesn't deserve half the crap you rantards complain about towards him. Only loss was Bama in which the offense didn't show up. I blame that more on the mindset of the players because that game seems to be far reached even during the other OCs we had. Come at me bro with some facts. And Geaux Tigers!

In my amateur opinion, the vanilla game plans in the games earlier in the season really hurt the offense in the Florida game. It seems like a new offense needs all of the reps it can get running their normal offense.

Defense gave up over 200 yards rushing and over 40 of those yards to a non running QB.

Yeah but they didn't want to give away too much from the playbook remember. Wasn't that the excuse.

The defense got pounded with the run game. A big reason was Jacob Philips being out. The offense scoring 19 points in that game was not enough. Offense was good enough to win A&M game, but we were hosed and a couple mistakes lost that one.

Our offense was good enough to win 12 games in 2011, doesn’t mean it was particularly explosive or fun to watch.
