I agree and add that it's about more than just being alive. She needs to be able to participate in a meaningful way in the work of the court.

Not sure reading is the same as hearing, if that makes any sense.

I heard that when they finally announce RBG's death, her body will be buried at sea in a secret ceremony and the public will not be allowed to see her body. It's a Jewish tradition I'm told.

If she was still alive the press would be running nonstop stories about how she's a fighter, can't hold her down, blah blah blah.
Their radio silence is telling.

I think too much has been made of the fact that she will miss oral argument. It's really not that unusual - Rehnquist did it, for sure - and oral argument just isn't that important in an appellate matter that's been fully briefed.
Sure if you miss one set that's understandable in any line of work. But when you haven't been seen in public for 54+ days and counting and, very literally, the fate of our nation's laws are resting upon decisions that you are making - the public has every right to see you and ensure you are competent. Otherwise we are listening to the booming voice of the wizard behind the curtain...

That evil old bitch will never make it. Never. They medicated the frick out of her, dragged her simi-rotten corpse into a secure back room of a theate, then got her out as fast as possible just to say the evil bitch was there.
She will never sit on the bench again. She’s barley alive and the Marxist are keeping the stanky old count alive to deny Trump
