Worth it?

It is. But I bought the all on one edition for $99. Probably won’t be disappointed. I have only beat 1 and 2. I’m starting in the order that things happened and I feel like it’s going to hit home when it all said and done.

i almost did the same, but figured I'd get tired of the gameplay after a game or 2. Metro, Sekiro, and DMC5 also coming out in super close proximity.

I'm still trying to figure out how the majority of the original Organization XIII got their hearts and names back.

Was that in "Re:Coded"?

Also, it's too bad Leonard Nemoy died. He was OUTSTANDING as the voice of OG Xehanort in Birth By Sleep.

The voice cast is INCREDIBLE as always. They did switch out some voice actors who were either unavailable or died.

Kairi was originally Hayden Pennitierre
Ansem/Xemnas was originally Billy Zane before he was basically fired
Ansem the Wise was originally Christopher Lee
OG Xehanort was originally Leonard Nemoy
R. Lee Ermey was originally Sarge (Toy Story)

They still have the original/current voice actors playing Elsa, Anna, Flynn, Rapunzel, Goethel, Eraqus (Mark Hamill), Sora, Riku, Roxas, Hades, Maleficent, Pete, Goofy, Donald, Mickey, Chip, Dale, all of Big Hero Six except for Wasabi (Khary Payton instead of Damon Wayans Jr.), Aqua (Willa Holland - Thea Queen from Arrow), and all of the Winnie the Pooh cast.

Another thing I noticed, and this is a first for Kingdom Hearts:

So far? Or is this a proven fact that none appear throughout the whole game?

honestly, I haven't played any but 1&2 and those were ages ago, I barely remember anything from them ,yea the main points but those are even faded in my memory.

I just played until the download let me (it stopped me at the end of Olympia, bc I have only 25GB out of 39 downloaded).

You don't need any backstory to follow this game. Yes it would help, but if you just go with the flow there's not much that really helps since there are alternate dimensions/timelines anyway.

Just enjoy the ride, it's fun as hell and the gameplay is legit. Way better than ff15 and I was a huge fan of that game.

If you need the backstory you can poke around the memory vault. You don't really need much and if you do you can dive in there.

I'm really impressed so far, I was iffy about how it was going to turn out bc of how ff15 went.
