Well damn... It sucks to lose another superstar, but at least they gave Dell the heads up now so he doesn't make any "season saving" trades. Hopefully we can get a decent wing in this rebuild.

I say give AD credit. He handled to not destroy the Pelicans on the way out. He could have signed them big deal then became an arse and forced his way out.
He has great value and let the offered come rolling in.
Boston, Lakers and Clippers

Can’t really blame him, 7 years in and some bone headed moves by the front office.
I think a trade can make the Pels better if they play it right. Therefore, I know they’ll screw it up.

Gave them a heads up, but doesn’t necessarily help our position in trying to trade him.

Tatum, Zion or bust?

I understand his request, but why inform the media?

Put some pressure on the team to actually follow through.

Fire Dell, let the new GM pick the coach, time to rebuild.

This actually happened in early December. Pelicans had been trying to fight it to no avail.

Of course he’ll start playing 80+ games a year the second he leaves and be indestructible. EG10’s punk arse averaged 40 games as a Pel and then played 75 and was the 6th man of the year in Houston.

I still thank AD for his time here and am sorry the organization couldn’t do better for him.

Just as long as we wait until the summer to do anything. This was going to happen eventually.
