Welcome Southern and Grambling. That makes every D1 school in Louisiana I think.
Southland Conference play begins this weekend for 4 in state teams. Nicholls welcome UNO to Thibadoux, Southeastern will host Central Arkansas. Northwestern State will be on the road at Abilene Christian. Southern begins SWAC play by hosting Arkansas Pine-Bluff. Grambling has already played a conference series, they will travel to Prairie View. Everyone else in the state is still out of conference.

Pretty good midweek game with NSU and Tech. Demons haven’t played their best yet but still look solid so far.
Should be a good test. I can see both making a regional this year if they play to their potential.

Losing these kinds of games is what will keep us out of the tournament. Can not do this at home. Its a long season but, if we drop this (likely) we will already have lost 3 at home.

Demons have been clutch the under Barbier, it’s why the Demons were in the regionals last year.

I'll take a 3-game win streak, but we have to stop leaving so many runners in scoring position. I think we were something like 1-20 over the weekend against Maryland with RISP. With that being said, pitching has improved since the Sam Houston series.
Win tonight and take the series against Loyola-Marymount, and the Cajuns are back to ~.500 after starting 1-7.
