Tulane loses the series with UCSB. We’ve beat all the bad teams we’ve played and lost to all the good ones (except taking a game from Ole Miss). The hitting has been good. Pitching is still arse but slightly better than the last 2 years

Weekend recap
- Clutch hitting lifted LSU to series win over Cal.
- Tulane got swept by UCSB and gave up 31 runs
- LA Tech lost a tough series at 15th ranked Arkansas.
- ULL dropped a disappointing series to Loyola Marymount after winning 5 games in a row
- Nicholls won their opening Southland Conference series vs. UNO
- Southeastern continues to struggle, losing their series to Central Arkansas
- McNeese won their series at ULM
- NWST lost their opening Southland Conference series at Abilene Christian
- Both Southern and Grambling are off to good starts in the SWAC

Not sure I would go that far but you do have a pretty solid team. We had won something like 24 of our last 26 home games before Saturday. Looked like a top 25 team to me.
The foul signal by the ump was pretty bad but it was a fair ball and even if only one scored it would have ended 3-2 instead of 4-2.

Demons are putting guys on base, just not bring them in.
I expect NSU to be in the top of the SLC by the end of the season.
