Been looking to upgrade from a 33hp to 50, have looked at orange and green but took a look at mahindra today and was pretty impressed with layout of controls and specs of the 2655. What I really liked was no DPF filter, also come standard with remote hydraulics, extendable arms, etc.

tractor seems solidly built just seeing if anyone has experience with one. Little nervous as they just seem to have popped up over last couple years.

Grandpa was a diesel mechanic, dad vehicle mechanic. Both have always said dont buy a tractor unless its green, orange, blue, or red (massey ferg). lol

With that said, my uncle has a big mahindra with ac cab for his property. And has no issues to my knowledge

I have owned a 65hp mahindra for 5 years now and have had zero mechanical issues
Primarily keep my 72" grapple on the loader to move brush and trees

Why are most of them pink after a few years?
They do have a high 3pt and FEL lift capacity. They are a fair amount higher than my Kubota. I seriously considered the 4530 before I bought my current tractor.

Do you some research, a lot of those Mahindra tractors in that HP range are not built by Mahindra and are brand labeled from other companies such as Mitsubishi, Kioti, and TYM.

We have a 45 hp Mahindra and it’s a great tractor. Never had any problems with it. If you want the best get a Kubota.

When I was looking for another tractor last year Kubota still only put depth on the 91hp and up. You seem like you have done your research, and DEF is a huge factor when I buy a machine. Screw the bastard that invented it.

It's the only reason diesel engines can still operate in the US. It is a major improvement over the in-cylinder emission controls we were doing prior.

That is true for JD also.

I bought a used 30hp mahindra 4wd a few years ago to have a small tractor. That thing is a beast. No problems at 600 hrs

That's true for ALL of them. The smaller NewHolland/Fords are built by Shibaura out of Japan. Great little rigs.

My old neighbor owns the Mahindra dealership in Gonzales, Glencoe. He will let you drive and try them out on the lot.

Get a Pre DEF Kubota. I bought a slightly used 2013 46HP with a front bucket and couldn’t be happier. 2013 and down don’t have DEF.

Good guy. I purschased a 2018 55 hp tractor with implements and trailer from that guy. Have 120 hrs on it now and hasn’t missed a beat.

Even had them put an axle to axle skid plate.

Yep I actually have an old Massey Ferguson that's built in Japan. I can't remember if it's a 1710 or a 1730. But been a great little tractor for 30 years
