I go a similar route. I've been using the same action packer for going on 15 years now. Never a drop of water in it. Wash it out with a hose, if needed. Wife says it looks trashy, but I wore Crocks & socks the other day to buy beer at the gas station so it is fitting.

Just get an old diamond plated toolbox and call it a day. Make sure it’s the deep version and you’ll thank me later.

I was exaggerating. I’d just rather buy a duffle bag from a company that doesn’t make ice chests and cups for a living. I’m sure they’re okay

That looks like a great pack to use if you plan to go hunt out west.

if you want waterproof and not water resistant, these are the best available

water shed dry bags

i have used them for years to transport my stuff to the camp(s) via boat. they can fully submerge and stay bone dry

BAM, That’s what I’m looking for. Looks well made, especially for $45.

Ordered the jumbo bag and a top water lure for less than $60 with free 2 day shipping. Can’t beat dat with a stick.

I've got the big one and a smaller one.

had both for many years.

they have held up well and get a lot of use in the boat during hunting season.

for the money, excellent buy imo.

Tuff truck bags

Bought one of these several years ago. Let my brother borrow it and haven't seen it since but it worked and worked well.

no where close to what you're looking for but it still works

I’ll second the watershed bags. They make stuff for navy seals, plus the owner lives in Metairie.

I keep two on my boat. One is the ditch bag with EPIRB, flares, water, etc. and the other is for random valuables that need to stay dry.
