The RTIC duffel bags on clearance for $45 or so but the large is sold out. What other duffel bags do y’all recommend that are similar to those?

I can't recommend anyone in particular, but Camofire has waterproof duffels on sale seems like daily.

How waterproof do you need it? (The RTIC are "water resistant, just FYI.)

Just something I can throw in back of the truck on the way to camp, doesn’t need to be 100% waterproof but resistant at least.

My dad uses the Cabelas Boundary Waters Duffle. Its held up well.

I have a North Face "Base Camp" bag that is waterproof. I really like it. If we are short on room in the truck, I'll pack in that and just throw it in the back for road trips.

i got a lot of crap and bought the magnum. Too big should have went a size down. I can fit everything. boots, bag, clothes, rain gear. so far so good.

You can get an offshore duffel bag.

This is what I would do - find some GI duffel bags and grab you a can of DWR spray. That's going to be the most cost effective, all around solution. GI bags aren't fancy but they're solidly engineered/built. They're ballistic with just a hint of that water repellent coating (probably DWR at the factory) when new. That quickly fades so if you get some surplus bags on the cheap (or even new bags) and zap them with DWR - you should be good to go for camp use.
You can also get smaller dry bags for stuff that you absolutely don't want to get wet at all inside a larger bag. Large "no shite" waterproof bags from quality brands are all going to be $120 or better, in my experience.

I was looking for something to solve this problem a couple years ago and ended up buying a Husky Job Box ($50). I keep it in the garage when I'm not heading to the camp and just roll it out and put in the back of the truck when needed. It's legit waterproof and will hold my big arse duffel, bow, quiver and pair of boots easy. This may be way off base for what you want, but it works great and can be locked up.

Magellan has a vinyl duffel with shoulder straps. I dont know how waterproof it is, but I trust it would stand a shower in the back of a truck. It has good zippers and good pockets and is cheap. It is also bright yella...you wont lose it.

YETI is garbage unless you just wanna be like everyone else.
For quality, go with Simms

What makes you say this? I've trashed a Yeti duffel bag for the last 18 months and it's still like new.
I do agree Simms is quality tho.

Yes it is garbage. I’d go with a off brand like Magellan or RTIC
