You know anybody that ruins food by putting sauce on it?

I work with this baw that puts hot sauce on everything. I'm talking like we'll go get a $40 porkchop meal for work and he slathers it in hot sauce. I just want to tell this baw, one, that's gross and you are ruining good food, and two, it's pretty tacky. I see people do this with ketchup as well, on eggs, steaks, etc.
I'm not a food snob, but ruining the taste of a good cut of meat is just sacrilege
Eta: have none of you ever eaten at a steakhouse? This is what we're talking about, and for the record it's worth every penny

ETA: I've begun to think of food as only a hot sauce delivery method.

There needs to be a board where they talk about this type of stuff.

It's huge and it's not a breakfast chop like you are thinking I'm assuming. Have you never seen a steakhouse porkchop?

What gets me are the people that doctor up their meal with salt, sauces, etc prior to even tasting it.

Brought this chick years ago to a nice steakhouse and she asked for A1. It was a Jerry Seinfeld moment for me.

I went through a phase for a few months (when I was like 19 and should have known better) where I put barbecue sauce on steak. I deserve to be shamed. I'm very disapointed with myself.

The mayonnaise sear thread was hilarious on the Food board. You have all these people who act like it's a sin to put anything other than salt and pepper on a steak talking about how slathering it in mayo creates a great sear and crust.

Back in the early 80’s, the army put sos on everything. I couldn’t stand the stuff.
