“Oh, hell yeah,” Robey-Coleman said, via Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post. “That was P.I.”
“I just know I got there before the ball got there,” Robey-Coleman said. “And I whacked his arse

Ratings and money trump player safety 9 days of the week.

I hope the inconsistencies and cheating from refs ends up killing pro and college football.

I'll still watch the Saints, but I won't ever pay for tickets or watch any other games on TV ever again.
Why is it when a financial adviser defrauds his clients he goes to jail, but when a referee costs fans, a billion-dollar organization (the Saints) and $10mm in bettors their hard earned money it's not even a criminal offense?
It's time to start putting these frickers on trial and locking them up when it can be proven that their failures were motivated by something and not a result of human error.

they only say they’re ‘concerned’ with player safety so they can avoid future injury lawsuits.

It's funny how the players on the favored big market teams from the big cities can play tough, hard-hitting, aggressive football and REALLY take it to the opponent and rattle their teeth -- without TOO much concern about penalties, when the rubber meets the road.
But players from the small market teams can't play with that kind of abandon.
No way in one trillion years of NFL football does a Robert Kraft Patriots get that kind of no-call to keep them out of the SB.

Josh Hill got a nice dose of player safety today too.

The NFL only cares about potential litigation. Bounty Gate was to act like they cared about player safety.
The NFL is full of $hit.

They’ll fine him for the helmet-to-helmet. Then tack on an extra $10k for being dumb enough to run his mouth like that.
