I’m debating if I should go with the white soles, or gum soles. I don’t expect you plebs to like them though.

They’re very simple, but less is more sometimes. I’d wear them.

Don’t think you can go wrong between gum or white sole...would probably go white as I think that’s slightly more versatile but I’m a sucker for a gum sole.

The bottom two pair look like they should have Velcro straps

The Gel-Respector is nice, the other 2...hard pass. There's no need for these tasteless baws to bargain shop.

Here are Muthsera's always in style daily sneakers for broke arse baws:

Saucony Jazz Low Pro - $60 on Zappos

Adidas Campus - $37 on Jimmy Jazz

Chuck Taylor Low - $50 at Nike

Old Skool - $60 at Vans

Great, khaki on my shoes to match my pants.

I would advise against khaki pants with sneakers unless you’re a kid going to private school.

If you have the correct fitting chinos and the right shoes there's nothing wrong with this.

But relaxed jeans with air monarchs, yes you're right

True, but I think it’s safer to just say “don’t wear sneakers with khakis” to this crowd.

Hardest I've laughed in a while on here

Some of these goobers could learn a thing or two from you, Mingo.

As long as there are bargain shoe threads on the OT, I will be here to sing the praises of the Saucony Jazz Low Pro, the undisputed champ of 2nd tier 80s athletic shoes. Look at its workmanlike simplicity. Feel its supple suede (avoid canvas styles - major durability concerns). Admire that 2for1 price point, especially if caught on sale.

They're even available in every baw's favorite fashionably flaccid red and black color scheme.

I don't own a pair of khakis, but I do wear chinos with sneaks.

Saucony is pretty prime.

I own a handful of Jazz Low Pro for casual, and I run exclusively in Kinvara 8/9. Kinvara is the best running shoe on the market.

I saw it.

Tea tree shampoo/body wash has become one of my favorites. I also appreciate someone else who likes brushing their teeth.

I always liked the Kinvara. Kind of the ultimate no frills competition for the Brooks Pure series before that line got totally bastardized.

For those with a heavy gait, I always recommended the Triumph when I was selling running shoes- thought it was the most cushion/$.

Low Pros are my daily wears. Simple enough to match nearly any outfit, stylish enough to get compliments, rare enough that you never see anyone wearing "your" shoes.

I'm a sucker for 80s silhouettes though, with AM1 being my favorite sneaker of all time.
