Yep. People watching the super bowl for the commercials would hate the saints in the game they don't watch.

I honestly think this year, the league wins either way with a compelling matchup, moreso than in the most recent years sans SB 50.

Officiating should be a major concern for whatever reason.
The Eagles had 4 penalties for 30 yards.
The Saints had 11 penalties for 84 yards.
The Saints had 420 total yards.
The Eagles had 250 total yards.
The Saints time of possession was 37:50.
The Eagles time of possession was 22:10.
The Saints third down efficiency was 8-15.
The Eagles third down efficiency was 2-7.
The Saints were a perfect 2-2 in fourth down efficiency.
The Saints dominated statistically.
The one exception that kept this game close was the obvious officiating discrepancy favoring the Eagles.

The refs were really good. Stop crying about them.

They really need all 25 Rams fans to watch the Superbowl
You are way overestimating the number of Rams fans

Why? LA cares so much about football they lose teams all the time and they don't even care about attending a divisional round game.
It's all about market scale. The Rams have one of the lowest market view shares (by percentage) in the NFL.
However, their 9.4 rating represents like nearly double the viewers of the Saints who have like a 40.9.
So this is the dream for the NFL. Get more of those millions of eyes on their prize peach.

Brees vs Brady will do just fine for them. In fact it’ll likely be highest watched super bowl ever just as Brees vs Manning were. Soccer moms know them. That more than makes up for a poorly supported rams market

LSU and saints fans bitch about the refs more than anyone. They were good yesterday. Especially letting the DBs play physical.

How does one QB get hit in the head and no call yet another QB gets hit high in the chest and gets the call? I agree the DBs were allowed to get physical on both sides (of course until Foles throws an uncatchable ball and the Eagles need to be bailed out to keep the drive going).

New orleans vs kc or NE make for a REALLY sexy matchup. Brady vs Brees for who's the GOAT or legend Brees vs the boy wonder probable mvp.

So fouls shouldn't be called if they aren't committed evenly?

Calls get missed? The one on Brees wasn't absurdly obvious, but should've been called.

It was called holding because he held the shite out of him and prevented him from running his route.

It's a dang shame but officiating has become the wild card in both college and profe3ssional football.

You know NFL and CBS want the Los Angeles market in this Super Bowl.
they do?

Yes. But the Saints overcame bad officiating Sunday. But I don't think you can shut down LA for 3 quarters like they did Philly.

Either way you go. LA vs KC: Qbs of the future-now. LA or KC vs NO or NE:Can the young QB take out two GOATs en route to a super bowl? NE vs NO: two goats collide possibly for the last time before both are put out to pasture.
NO vs LA this weekend- Can the GOAT dethrone a team whose mascot is a goat?

No denying the Eagles got all the favor from refs this week. No fricking holds or PI

Isn't the usual SB audience over 100 million? Does CBS really need the LA and Boston markets? Think about it, man.
