re: Any news on Ed Ingram & Tyler Taylor?

The situations are very different. Ingram's is a "he said, she said" question about something from before his time at LSU.
Taylor's biggest problem (besides the threat of jail) is that he let the coaching staff find out about his arrest in the news. There's no excuse for trying to hide the truth and embarrassing the program even worse than it was already.

Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
TCS has deep pockets to make any type of criminal activity magically disappear or be reduced to almost nothing of consequence from a legal point of view.
All the sickening & gross Cheerleader Idolizer Worshipper types will be after TCS finishes doing what they do.

We have a CONVICTED felon on staff and part of the HC’s inner circle, not sure why posters are so critical of these players that haven’t even been to trial yet.

Convicted of what? What State?

Derek Ree worked several years as a River Boat Pirate in Louisiana using a license he issued himself. Probably produced on the same printer as the binder that they conned Alleva with.

Fultons dad is one of the ones who said it was looking good for Taylor.
Yep, And the Ingram one will be decided in May... Both look promising to return... Albeit, Taylors return wont happen till summer.. Getting Ingram back will be huge... Taylor Honestly doesnt have a spot and is a little more Expendable, he's just really good depth, even though he did beat out phillips, I think the year of phillips starting and doing well solidified his position... IDk there may be another position for him... maybe juco route might be best for him and a new beginning... not sure... let the coaches decide... They are going to have to process quite a few guys this summer though...

Tyler Taylor enrolled in my morning MWF class this morning. I’d say that’s a good sign.

Did one of these guys steal your "GF" or something? An awful lot of anger there.

Ingram returning does wonders for the offensive line.
Taylor returning mean you can rotate the linebackers as needed throughout a drive without any significant drop off. White or Phillips gets nicked for a play, out trots Queen or Taylor. Fricken unreal.

Wtf are you talking about?? I was just suggesting posters not be so hard on these kids until they have their day in court, given that we are tolerant of a convict being on our staff. No anger from me with the players in the least.

You may want to check the TigerDroppings home page.

I think it's pretty official if they are not on the roster with the new semester starting.
I think both are done and O will confirm that probably before spring practice.

Nothing suggest this. Rather, the few known people with inside info have said the exact opposite, even in this thread. Believe what you want I guess.

With white leaving having Taylor back would be a plus. At least some more experience. Ingram would be huge.

Removing both from the roster in the past month says something. I don't know what but I don't see that as positive news.

I was at a Tigerland bar back in the day. I ran into a guy from my neighborhood. He needed a ride home so I offered him one. On the way home he asked if I could stop at a convenience store which I did. I then dropped him off and went to my apartment and went to bed.
The next night my Dad calls me as white hot angry as he’s ever been in his life. Cursing, threatening- just blowing my arse up. He tells me the sheriff has knocked on his door looking for me. My stepmother from Hell is screaming in the background like the worthless shrew she is. I’m like wtf ?
So I go to the Sheriff with my Dad. Turns out the guy I gave the ride to absconded with a 12 pack. He never paid. I didn’t even drink one. I had no idea. The guy then came in with his Dad and fessed up . Crisis over.
I always liked that kid too. Great guy doing dumb arse crap . The worst part is that my Pops lost his mind like suddenly at age 21 I’m a hardened criminal or something. Totally irrational .
So it Can happen.

Or the football staff know exactly what their doing... If these young men are enrolled at LSU this spring, I imagine they will be on the football roster in August.

Well, I think you're situation and Taylor's situation is a bit different. While stopping at a convenience store late at night so a buddy can run in to grab a 12-pack of beer wouldn't raise any eyebrows, stopping at a pawn shop that is clearly closed in the middle of the night and having your buddies come out with arms full of guns should probably tip you off that something's up.
I'll say that without ALL the facts, it's tough to say whether his story is believable at this point, but it seems exceedingly unlikely that he had no idea what they were planning to do. When they asked him to drive to a pawn shop at 2 in the morning, red flags should have been raised.
