I know both are in school. Are they paying their own way or are they on scholarship while facing these charges? Are players who are suspended still on scholarship?

That's interesting,, I printed a roster looking at #s per the 85 last Wed., and they were both still there.
But just looked today and they are not there. Have no clue what that means if anything, but I have a hard copy from a few days ago with them still there.

You must not be fans of devin white, Jeremy hill. That's just 2 recent allstar players that had issues as young adults before they grew up and matured.
These guys are not perfect but they are growing and lsu and college is shaping them to not make these types of decisions they get back on the team I would guess these things are not a problem from these guys again.. if the coaches see good kids that made dumb decisions they will make the call and use it as a teaching point for them or for others. Just wait and see what happens.

I spoke with a woman last weeks who’s daughter does to school with Taylor at Lanier. FWIW, she says all the kids involved are good kids that did a stupid thing. I truly hope it’s not indicative of him as a person.

First off, this thread should have never been started. Everyone knows if any news breaks this board will know. For the people passing judgement grow up and wait for the justice system to settle the matters at hand. Sometimes this board is an embarrassment.

I did plenty of stupid things as a kid. Not once did I break into a pawnshop and steal guns.
There aren’t too many good kids that break into pawn shops and steal guns.
I understand that Taylor was just the driver, and I understand that his story is that he did not know they were going to break in. I find it hard to believe, but I’ll buy into the “he got caught up in the wrong crowd argument.”
As for the kids that broke in and stole guns, no, they’re not good kids.

On Feb 8th they'll have to get very accurate info on Taylor and Ingram to know just how creative they'll have to get.
Ingram MIGHT know for sure by then. You never know. Obviously we'll know about DW before then also. It seems to me that it is a foregone conclusion that spots on the 85 are set aside for both as it stands (suspended, not dismissed).

Ed Ingram coming back could be huge. I mean REALLY a diffrence maker for this Oline. He is better than any current guard and for damn sure Thomas coming in.

Taylor is finished. Will never return.
Ingram likely to be back next season but won’t get his starting spot back.

I thought he played much better at OG than Charles when they were splitting time there in 2017.
He was the only one I saw and thought to myself "he's gonna be drafted". Now we haven't seen enough of him to know that yet. But he was more impressive as a true FR than what he was playing next to.
The WORST that can happen with Ingram coming back is that it pushes Lewis and Magee in the offseason and we have uber-depth on the interior come spring camp.
