flood stories exist in every culture because nearly every culture clusters around coastlines/rivers/lakes where there's more likely going to be floods. A huge flood happens due to a hurricane or some other natural phenomenon and the people thought "gods" must be angry at them.

A 12,000 civilization with pyramids hundreds of feet below water off the coast of Japan IS a flood story

That's my bad for using the most common definition of 'story'.

Yea, what you just said is retarded. Research the 120+ global flood stories around the world.

They all

1. Date around the same time
2. Contain the same motifs

And all aren’t directly by bodies of water

Physical Proof of a 12,000 year old flooded civilization > stories

This is not necessarily true. Your statement neglects the initial conditions of our planet being formed in the solar system.

It is possible to have a faster orbit regardless of distance from a mass if other forces are involved

Could we get some links here? Just from cursory research I'm finding all kinds of dates. And what motifs?

Where did all the water come from/go if there was a global flood?

If all ice on Earth were to melt, sea level would only rise about 220 ft (according to national geographic)

But what forces are you talking about?

The motif is "we are not advanced enough to know why this is happening so the gods must hate us"

I could provide link after link of flooded structures/stories dated around 12,000 years old

Or you could not be lazy

That has frick-all to do with orbits.

So you can't provide links? I just told you I'm looking up things now and they conflict with what your posting so I'm not sure why I'm lazy.

ANY force related to a forming solar system that could collide and propel a planetary object into a fast orbit.

Another planet, satellite, etc as long as it is in the same vector direction as the initial orbit

You're the one trying to have a discussion so you're the one that shouldn't be lazy when it comes to providing supporting details to foster the discussion.

I can.

But I won’t.

Why? Because I am not going to enable your laziness. Younger Dryas. 12,000 year old flooded structures, dating of the Sphinx. Not hard to look up.
