POLITICO polled the offices of 17 Senate and House members who represent Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California about Trump’s $5.7 billion border barrier request. Only two — Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) — said they supported it.

Don’t expect the average poster on this Board to have a clue what you are talking about. They don’t understand the constitution or the law.
It will take years to get the land. They can’t even begin to expropriate until the engineers and surveyors lay out the plan. It will never happen.

How many of the rest are democrats, dumbass... Like I said, you fricks don't even read the articles...
And you conveniently left out the part where they included Cornyn in the oppose column, when his quoted comments did not say he opposed the wall...
So, you present an article that says "mostly Democrat lawmakers along the border don't support the wall" AND we are just supposed to sit here and say WOW? putz...

So why not give him the 5.7 billion? What's the worst that can happen? It never happening?

... add to it the environmental study
Which will eat up muy-dollars and require half as many years to perform as the wall takes to build.

You keep saying this over and over but obviously Pelosi is smarter than you because she is not willing to give the money because she knows the wall will get built...
I swear you can't see past the talking points...

Which agencies do you think reviews those studies? Funny but when the government wants to build something, the government doesn't get bogged down in the minutia that everyone else does...
But, why not give the money then? If it isn't going to happen and yall are so damn confident then yall are some serious dumbasses for keeping the government closed over a wall you contend cannot be built...

Do you own property on the border?
We never had any problem with the migrant worker type people, but the drug runners were sometimes problematic. I think that most ranchers out in that part of the country felt about the same way.

Why do you think this is relevant?
Posted on 1/10/19 at 4:03 pm to The Maj
well .... that is what this thread is about
It's: The Wall and the Land it will take to build it.
Which means what concerns the people who's land is on the border, so why not offer up how their Representatives are voting/leaning. It's not what PT posters choose to believe those people think. your are smarter than this.. I hope.

More info, please. What is the number of cattle that rely on the rio grande (the portion that borders Mexico) for their water? Be specific.

I don’t know what this means....but I’d like to know why you think what 8 democrat house members think is relevant.

Color me shocked that Democrats don't support the wall...
