Expectations for O next season?

Seems as if a portion of the fanbase, and Alleva of course, would be content with routine 10-3 seasons. This is alarming.
Improvement next season would entail 11-2 or better. With an easier schedule and the returning talent, 11-2 is a realistic expectation. Anything less should be cause for concern.

Win the west. Clemson stomped bama and has had 1 class over the last 5 cycles ranked higher than ours. 2018.

This same exact thread has been done hundreds of times. Can you post in one of the others?

I'll preface by saying I'm extremely happy with the final record from this season, maybe not necessarily how they arrived here, but very happy nonetheless.
My expectations are a 10-2 regular season for 2019. Anything worse and I will be bit disappointed (barring injuries).

Beat Florida and absolutely skull frick aTm in our house. Need to put little brother back in his place. Other than that, just don't lose to Arky.
Realistically, 11-2 better be our floor. Anything less and I'd personally be really disappointed, though that matters not. With this roster, we should beat everybody except Bama. And I'd love to beat them, but honestly just hope to score points on them...

Please explain what you mean by “a portion of the fanbase would be content with a routine 10-3 record.” A 10-3 record is not routine for any school unless in the midst of a dynasty. We just finished 10-3 and the 6th best team in the country. Best rwcord we have had in 7 years, so in no way is this “routine.” You obviously are a nega and wont be happy until O is gona, but god dammit. Lsu is im its best spot it has been in in several years withnothinng but postive news ahead as far as rankings, returning players, and recruits, yet you arent happy. If you really want to be a miserable bastard, pick up another sport you lowlife frick

“This is alarming”
No a-hole, this is college football. I understand that you just started watchin this sport, so all you know is bama succes, but 10-3 is a good record every year. 128 teams, only one wins. Bama has won 15(or so) times but been around for 100+ years. Doesnt mean every one of those other years is a failure. Dont be such a negative a-hole and you will enjoy life alot more. You think their fans “sounded the alarm” as you suggested every one of those other 85+ years?

This is how I see our 2019 regular season playing out. And then a dub in a NY6 bowl for 11-2
Wins:-
Georgia Southern
Northwestern State
Vanderbilt
Utah State
Miss St
Auburn
Ole Miss
Arkansas
We drop one of these games:-
Texas
Florida
Texas A&M
Losses
Alabama

Win something of note, like the division, the conference, a playoff berth, a playoff game, an NC. He's won nothing of note. Ever.

I don’t care if we go 11-1 next year. If we score no points against bama again, I’m going to lose my shite. Unless we get into the playoffs somehow, which at 11-1 is a definite possibility, unless we really get blown out in said game in which we score no points. My realistic expectation would be a 10-2 regular season, but I won’t be satisfied with less than 11 wins overall.

Anything less than 10-2 in the regular season will be a huge disappointment. I am calling Bama a loss until LSU proves they can play toe to toe with them. @ Texas will be tough. They have a lot coming back and will be rank in a similar spot as LSU. It is in Austin so this gives them the upper hand and will be favoured so that is why i give LSU a loss there. But really that game is a toss up. I don’t predict bowls, who knows where or who we will play.

I'm good as long as we win more than we lose.

I agree, 11-2 is the bottom, if it's more losses than that, it's a failed season IMO.
