James Carville just made a recruiting pitch Brian Williams asked him about the title game and he said something on the order of when we get them Amite Boys we gonan have the talent to play for the championship in a couple of years.

There are some limitations of what alumni can say in pursuit of recruits, although in the age of twitter that seems to be hard to enforce.

If it was LSU would report ASAP and self impose a reduction in scholarships. Nobody is tougher on LSU than LSU compliance.

Our compliance dept needs a major reboot.
I don't feel all high and mighty and feel like LSU needs to be more strict than our competition...I've gotten no moral victory out of watching our compliance dept hold us back over the years.

Why would that be an ncaa violation? He's not on the coaching staff dude lol. He's not in any way an employee of LSUs athletic dept. It's like me, you, or any other tiger fan saying it.

Nobody has done more for Amite families than C. James Carville.
