Game Thread: Red Hot Pelicans vs. Fading Grizzly Men

Okay, I am 1-0 so far, so let's see if we can keep it going.

Pels have a chance to jump all the way up to 3rd in the division and 12th in the conference with a win tonight and a Mavs loss.

Moore probably won't play and Niko is out, so there won't be much shooting on the court, but luckily our role guys tend to play better at home. The thing to worry about with Memphis is they are very good at turning teams over. If that happens, it will be hard to overcome because they also play very slow and that puts possessions at a higher premium.

On the flip side, their bigs tend to foul quite a bit so if AD and Randle are aggressive, they can live at the line and help get us into the bonus. If AD becomes jump shot AD, it could be a recipe for disaster. Attack the paint tonight, and Pels win. Settle for mid rangers and/or become lazy with the ball, and they lose

Cavs are the next game on Wednesday. Win this one and they likely take a 3 game winning streak into that incredibly important 12 game stretch.
