McDonalds Shake Machine

Last night, I had the craving for a MCD shake, but of course it was broken.
I tried again for lunch, different location but same owner in the Houma area, but that one was broken too.
What gives, over 15 years ago in my college years I worked there. The machines we had back then rarely broke. I would have to on occasion have to tear it down and relube it, but that was done usually after closing. I also know that the machines had a boil/defrost cycle, but that was only late at night on a computer timer. Not during business hours.
McDonalds Corporate ought to start penalizing franchisees that have inoperable shake machines.
Next time, I may just have to go to Sonic.

It's amazing how once you leave Louisiana and states like Mississippi and Alabama fast food becomes almost a pleasant experience. Louisiana has the laziest of all the lazy people in this country. But go to a McDonalds in Texas or Florida and it's a decent place thanks to the hard working hispanics.

I was craving one of their shakes last week as well. Went at 9:00 and 8:30 on consecutive nights and was told the machine was broken both times

They’re not broken dummy the workers are just lazy fricks who don’t feel like operating the machine because it takes the most effort to clean.

they are hard to clean, so they are either broken, occasionally actually cleaned, or working and incredibly disgusting where they should be cleaned.

I thought this was true until I went for lunch a couple times and they were “broken” as well. More like the lazy asses don’t want to be bothered.
