Did WWL Radio change sports radio affiliations

For the last several years, WWL Radio has sometimes carried NBC Sports Radio, I guess when there aren't any other shows for WWL to broadcast.
Last night, I was in the car around 8:30 pm, and put on WWL, and they were playing a CBS Sports Radio show.
Looked online and could not find anything about a switch.
I know Entercom (WWL parent) recently merged with CBS radio, so it would make some sense that they would align with CBS Sports Radio.

Who knows what they are doing. I mean they still run radio spots with guys that have been dead for almost a decade.

You still listen to WWL sports radio? I give it about 5 minutes a month to remind me why I don't listen to it anymore.

Not like we have many options that time of night. Seth Dunlap is "ok" and he's usually on at that time, which is why when i was in the car, I put it on.

I found Scoot’s show was better from 8 to midnight than the sports programming that’s on now. Spud also had a good show in the afternoon.

Wait, WWL carries actual programming? Where do they fit it in amongst the commercials?

While the local shows have tons of commercials, the national shows seem to have a much more normal clock.

Seth is almost certainly the best thing WWL has at this point.
I do like Zach Streif on the radio, not so much as a play by play guy.

Still don’t know what happened to Deke ? I really only listen to sports talk maybe 20-30 minutes each week. Need a major overhaul in their sports department.

He is really, really, really good at analysis on the Friday show. I love that his experience is so recent and relevant. You can tell he's a very intelligent person, and getting the perspective from a lineman is super interesting.
His play by play has gotten better as the season went on, it still isn't good. He may end up being good at it, but he needs a ton of polish.

The only good thing WWL plays is Chicago's "Get Away" right before the top of every hour.

I just assumed that he had finally pissed off every listener by being such a dick on the air, but he may have bigger issues. There's a guy named Arden Wells in Tangipahoa who fancies himself as kind of an exposer of public corruption and other shenanigans around the parish. He posted on Facebook about a month or so ago that Deke got the boot from his job as a manager at some store I've never heard of for stealing. I don't know how much money or merchandise was allegedly involved, but it's not a good sign, if true.

NBC Sports Radio is getting out of the sports talk business.

dave smith ? @davesportsgod @davesportsgod More NBC Sports Radio is transitioning from a sports-talk network to more of a play-by-play and update network, which unfortunately meant the end of most of our sports-talk programming. But that's business, no hard feelings and nothing but great memories.

He was so condescending towards callers. How long was he on the air at WWL? Seems like it was several years.

Well thats how much sports talk they have in month
CBS has been on 910 in BR. Shows sandwiched around songy and krysan unfortunately. But its been all static last week or so. Not sure what’s happening there

I moved back to LA about a month and a half after Katrina and he was on WWL then. I don't know when he started w/ them, but I think it was doing live halftime reports from high school football games.

People need to discover podcasts and dump AM radio.
