My current loan is with American Education Services and I’m looking for Lower interest rates. My employer has a connection with CommonBond... have y’all heard of them and who else do you recommend I get a quote from? TIA

White coat investor has decent review of them

Wife has a few loans with AES & others and I tried to refi with SOFI but was unable to consolidate the AES loans. Something to do with loan type. For the rest I got a pretty solid rate with sofi and it was easy to complete. Don’t know Commonbond.

I wanna say I had that problem in the past with AES as well... I submitted application to combine AES & Nelnet loans, we’ll see if it’ll process. If not, I may just pay off nelnet with savings and refi the AES loan.

I've used Navient and Sofi in the past. Both got me a ~5% rate.

Sofi had the best 5 year rate and earnest had the best 7+ year rates when I looked six months ago.

I would start here: LINK / even if your are not a medical professional.
I've refinanced twice now:
1. Link capital: decent experience, no real complaints. I chose them because they had the best rate while I was still in training.
I chose to refi again as I am now out of training and can get an even lower rate.
2. Earnest: highly recommend. Easy process, relatively low fixed-rate. Good web portal.
