Hopefully, this will pass by 8 PM tonight. That’s the time my flight leaves out of New Orleans.

They're talking 5-7 inches in some areas with "significant" rises on area rivers. If that line stalls out over the Felicianas/Livingston/EBR areas and dumps 7" of rain on those places, the Amite, Comite, and Manchac are going to give some people problems.

If that main line of continuous rain sits over an area, it will be a sight to behold. That rain came down HEAVY early this am, but cant image it raining that hard for several hours

No thanks. We did that in 2016.

It sucked.

Yea, "several hours" turned into 72 hours. That is one fall I'd be okay with never reliving.

Just drove from Opelousas to Lafayette. What a shite show. The interstate is flooded.

Just on 49? Or 10 also?

I have two carloads of friends that left from the Buc-ees in Baytown, TX, at 1030 am headed to NOLA. So they should be coming through Laffy in the next hour to 90 minutes.
