Isn't it supposed to slow down quite a bit right before getting to Baton Rouge? If it does, I'd imagine the entire severe threat will dissolve by the time it gets here.

Tornadoes scare me more than lightning . I survived an F4 in Bossier City as a kid that killed people . We found our car 1/4 mile away. The second floor of our hotel was gone and we were looking at sky. But Lightning is scary too, it’s why I never venture outside when it’s reported within 50 miles , especially when I’m in Texas and/or at a Bowl game.

NOLA TV stations were talking up to 7 in. of rain possible over the next 3-4 days b/c it stalls out before getting off the coast

Hope many cleaned out their drainage and catch basins to prepare.

The system moved fast through NW Houston at 4am but it rained very hard for an hr.

From the radar looks like it'll be approaching Baton Rouge in the next hr or so.
