I don't have to go in to work today *and* I get paid anyway.
That's right. You, the American taxpayer are paying me, foshizzle, a nice sum so that I can stay at home and watch porn. Or football. Or do whatever I want. But I was explicitly told that I should not under any circumstances report to work.

Sounds like you are already getting paid for doing no work. Bringing your arse to and from an office every day isn’t work, but I’m sure you nonessentials think it is.
