Westbrook dude got a PER of 20 and shoot 25% from three. Member when we said three years ago that when he does less the team does better? looking good on that one aren’t we

Who? Compared to who? Lebron is the only one that excels in the playoffs but hes always played in the eastern conference. Just list off the guys.
I've posted it numerous times. I went by gamescore, below 10 I think. And I showed the % of times each player had a gamescore below 10 in the playoffs.
It was uncanny how much more often Harden did it, and that was before last postseason. Then in the postseason, he kept the trend going again and added to it.

100% false. Check his numbers. Hes had plenty of stinkers in big moment games. Hes also had 5 straight years of multiple all stars on his team.

Close your eyes and image John Wall “blocking” Harden the way he did on Lonzo a couple of nights ago
Wall would have been automatically ejected with the flagrant and Wall would have probably had to have sat the next game.
What makes the mugging worse was it was days following the Lakers heavily breathing on Harden & him getting foul calls (20-22 free throws).
It must be infuriating/ puzzling for players...

sug Don’t get your hopes about your lakers being able to take out CC in the postseason. That’s a sweep or G sweep, this is a mismatch.

Rockets still would have won by 3. The make up call happened on the next Utah possession. Let's also talk about that foul call on Eric Gordon.
Easy to tell who actually watched the game. Obvious make up call was obvious. The ref that missed the travel ran from the other side of the court to call it, despite another ref being directly next to Mitchell and Gordon.

I agree if LeBron / Lonzo & the Lakers are getting mugged and Harden gets fouls because he is breathed on too heavily.

No no no. I am saying no matter what. I ain’t blame the refs not even once in my life for my squad losing. I’m not gonna start now.

Meanwhile Rocket legend T-Mac refutes CP3’s claim, calls MJ, Kobe and Durant “the most gifted offensive players” he’s ever seen.
Calls Harden “the most gifted at getting calls”

Harden is certainly the GOAT at getting to the foul line. But hey if you would rather let him shoot that layup uncontested, then by all means let him go ahead and do it. it doesn’t make a hill of beans to James. He is out here to fill up that scoreboard. To be the only player ever who can have true shooting up at 62% and also average 30+ points a game and at the same time be one of the top two or three passers in the league. And while he’s at it be one of the highest two or three hoops IQ guys in the league.

Those are the only two seasons like that yes but neither of those guys is in hardwn class as a passer / playmaker. Not even close really. that’s what makes harden where he stands top 5 all time offensive player. The high efficiency high volume scoring that is nearly unmatched to go with elite playmaking / passing that is unmatched. You can say lebron has harden beat as a passer playmaker but no one else in the nba today can make that claim.

Trying to have my buddy find the source, but he texted me that some sports scientist said Harden is in the 99th percentile when it comes to deceleration. In other words, he slams on the breaks and defenders can't help but run into him.

Holy shite. Watch some basketball you front running goofball.
Curry is the best playmaker in the league if not second behind LeBron

His IQ is just off the charts," says Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni. A couple of seasons ago, Harden got so proficient at drawing fouls as he rose to launch three-pointers—what Harden describes as "trying to create an advantage," and what opposing fans and rival players describe as "bullshite calls"—that the league changed the rules to permit such incidental (or in Harden's case, super intentional) contact. D'Antoni just sees this as evidence of his genius. "Anytime they try to change the rules, or put new rules in, for one person," he says, "it means you're pretty well ahead of the game."
Harden isn't that tall, he doesn't jump very high, and he isn't crazy fast. But there is one very particular, newly quantifiable skill at which he is the best in the NBA: deceleration. P3, an athletic-performance firm based in Santa Barbara, California, actually studied this, and that was its conclusion. At a moment when everyone in the league is trying to go faster, Harden is the best at slowing down. "No—stopping," he clarifies. "That's why it's so hard to guard me—because I'm able to get you off-balance, use my body, then stop on a dime and still get my shot. That's tough, you know?"
There’s also a WSJ article out there. But you gotta sign in to read it.

I’ve googled quite a few “best playmaker” kinda articles and haven’t found one that puts steph over hardwn. Can you find one? Even one would make me happy.

I seen plenty of steph. Plenty. I love golden state. I love steph. They are GOAT. Hardwn lead CC to a top 10-12 all time offense the year before Chris got there. With not much help. Due to his elite and I mean elite playmaking ability. Get the ball to harden. Let him do his thing. ——> leads to all time great offense. I don’t know of any other player whose mere presence means you are gonna be all time great on offense. Like prime harden.
