Anyone ever been in a relationship with someone that had this and if so what was it like?
Asking for a friend.

Yep. Crazy girl. Hold onto your hat is all I have to say. And lots of patience.

Borderline personality disorder is a mental illness marked by an ongoing pattern of varying moods, self-image, and behavior. These symptoms often result in impulsive actions and problems in relationships. People with borderline personality disorder may experience intense episodes of anger, depression, and anxiety that can last from a few hours to days.
Sounds like a lot of women I have dated.

Are you asking if my ex was crazy?
Yes. Yes she was.

Run. As fast as you can and as far as you can.

If it's diagnosed and medicated, shouldn't be a problem. Just be patient. If she is in denial or stops taking meds, run.

This.
Doesn’t help that BPD diagnosis are overwhelmingly female.

This sounds like a question better suited for Ariana Grande.

^This.
The one I dated for that year was on point when she was on her meds. However, when she stopped taking them it was beyond crazy. Run. As in really run.
Oh, and look up histrionic. Crazy girl could have been this, too.
It gets better man. Much better. Do yourself a favor and run.

I had a friend in college whose girlfriend we diagnosed as a histrionic.
It was like having a 5’ Mila Kunis in full attention whore mode whenever they showed up.

Pretty sure must of us aren’t in denial of it.
It sucks when dealing with someone who insists they are sane and everyone else is crazy.

They used to cure hysteria with orgasms.
It still works.
Make your lady’s head go loopy and she’ll act better

Too bad you can’t prescribe that as an MD anymore.
Show her how to have one, give her a scrip to buy a rabbit, and say “do this at least one per day plus as needed.”

A lot of people with personality disorders will stop taking their meds abruptly at some point in life. And the wheels come WAY off when they do. It takes a bigger man than me to commit to a diagnosed chick with a personality disorder.
My first house was in a starter home neighborhood. It was nice and quiet mostly but we had a neighbor who was bipolar and schizophrenic who stopped meds. Over the course of a year this all happened and even more.
1 - Demolished a rock/brick mailbox shared between him and his neighbor.
2 - Piled the demolished pile in front of his house.
3 - Painted the mailbox halfass almost every day. Sat the mailbox on top of the rock pile so mail could be delivered.
4 - Shattered a mirror for about 3 hours into his front yard
5 - Placed a fence panel from his backyard in his tree in the front yard. Left it for a few weeks.
6 - Vehicles reposessed.
7 - Lost job due to making a death threat.
8 - Piled tree trimmings about waist high in his front yard
9 - Hid dead deer carcass in the limbs until it was rotten.
10 - Cops were at his house about 4 days a week.
11 - Offered to take a dead raccoon to some kids down the street so they could make a hat out of it.
There is probably more I'm missing. But this is the sorta behavior personality disordered people experience after they quit taking meds. Experiences may differ.
