False. The last government shutdown over DACA helped Trump more than it hurt him.

Sounds like a woman’s name. That would explain the lack of common sense and logic.

Just watched ABC World News Tonight's segment on this. Two things.

One, they took issue with the President saying a great amount of wall has been repaired or built. They showed a graphic that screamed "31 MILES." If the Preisdent wanted to highlight the woeful shape of the current wall, then his reverse psychology succeeded. The bell rang and Pavlov's dog slobbered.

Two, ABC blamed the President for the meeting devolving into rancor, but the only rancorous comment quoted was Nancy Pelosi saying afterward that the wall was a reflection of the President's manhood, "if he can be a man or have manhood" (paraphrasing).

We have met the enemy and the enemy is the mainstream, elitist media.

Any time you can stand next to chuck and nancy and be compared to them is a good strategy.

I don’t know if it was all that effective. If you were for the walk before the meeting, you are still for the wall. If you were against the wall before the meeting, you are still against the wall.

From a national security standpoint why would anyone be against a southern border wall? We know that’s where +90% of the illegal drugs are entering the country along with the criminals that run the drug trade.

Chuckes wants to debate in private.

That’s what people need to take away from this. Why shouldn’t a debate over policy that effects the American public not be debated in public?

True but we have short memories and 2020 is ages away.

The last two shutdowns (Cruz and Schumer) ultimately didn’t hurt either party in the following election.

No one has ever owned it though. Said I’m shutting down the government because I care about your safety.

You think the Dems give 2 shits about that? Staying in office at any cost is more important. Those new Dem voters come in handy.
