Bro. Funny it’s how the pros chip into grain on Bermuda like at TPC San Antonio. But keep downvoting bro.

I use a 60 w/ 12 degree bounce specifically because of this. I can hit a little harder without as much consequence and commit to the shot.

Hit 9 really good chip and pitch shots. Was wet as shite. The other 90 shots were not so good.

Then I’d just use your hybrid in a putting motion unless it’s puddling.

Go to YouTube and watch Phil Mickelson’s Secrects of the Short Game series.
I subscribe to his theory that the ball needs to be either in the very back of the stance or way up in the stance...never in the middle.
With wet conditions, I’ll play it back and let the moisture in the green help stop the ball.

In addition, I once heard Hank Haney say, "If you CAN putt.....putt".

Chip with a 54-56* SW with at least a 10 bounce.
As stated above...ball back in your stance, weight mostly on your left foot, soft hands and watch the club hit the ball. I visualize the shot as if I’m doing an underhand lob with the ball instead of with the club. Works for me.
