Call me crazy but I think we have a shot of him returning! Said he is in no hurry in making a decision. He is all LSU, loves LSU and Louisiana. After we beat UCF he will sit down with Coach O and figure things out.
Clark and Baskerville will be very good LBers. I know it's a pipe dream but how epic would that be!

that insurance policy wouild be like 20 million. He would be the 1st Lb taken in draft this year. What more does he have to prove other than trying to get LSU to the playoff. He loves LSU but thats asking alot. Hell if he leaves would love to see him as a jax jaguar.

I think its an honest struggle for him. In his heart, he would love to come back. He has that type of character. However, he knows forgoing his SR season to become a NFL 1st round draft pick is the right thing to do for himself & his family.

The right decision for him is to go pro. He can’t improve his draft stock by coming back another year. He’s going to make life changing money.

I’ve never understood this line of thinking. I don’t think the HC should try to talk players out of leaving early when they’re guaranteed first round picks - it seems unethical. At the same time, though, why should coaches pressure players to leave if they want to stay?
To me the coaches’ responsibilities are to field the best team every year while also making sure the players are well-informed of the risks and benefits of staying/leaving. I don’t think the coaches should be expected to twist a player’s arm into leaving early though.

For his sake, I hope he doesn’t. He’s done plenty for this school and state. He needs to go secure his financial future.

The crazy part is that first mock draft came out and they had him going #22 to the Raiders! I think that is insanely wrong!
