The schtick is very old.

Outgrowing =/ outpacing by a million in 10 years.

Do you have a crystal ball? Tons of undeveloped land still left and tons of homes on the market currently.

One is growing and the other is already mature and still growing. Your dumb comment is dumb.

Which inherently means slower growth allowing Collin and Denton to catch up and surpass.

My 10-year comment may be off the mark, but it's going to happen. You literally just said it yourself.

Yeah outgrowing because Dallas is 1.3 million and developed and Frisco is under 200k and not totally developed.

It’s pretty obvious.

This is pretty old news. A deal might have just been finalized officially, but this deal was done over a year ago.

It was just voted for approval last night, but yeah 3years in the making.

Interesting. I know how well the area is growing. So many different reasons, and ways companies assess things it's cool to learn. Especially trying to see who had the upper hand city or company. Amazons 2nd/3rd hqtrs deal was interesting to watch.

Essentially they are moving their customer base. Thx

Sure when you compare counties. Collin county is neighborhood on neighborhood. It’s literally designed to be where people live. That won’t make it some economic hub of the area though.

Dallas (the city) has a larger sqftage than Frisco and is clearly larger I'll concede that. Dallas (The county) will be passed by Collin County.

What do you call the SRT/DNT Billion dollar office park then?

A walk in the park?

Cmon man you drive a ton and see this shite. You are probably the last person I'd think would not see the big picture.

Depends on what extent you classify economic hub I guess. Lots of Fortune 500 Headquarters, medical care is quickly growing as many systems are classifying as another hub of the metroplex. Collin in the near future have as many trauma centers as Dallas County.

They really really need to fix the northbound 121 ramp.

Only reason why it backs up after 4.

This is differnet than frisco surpassing dallas city to city, so i'll entertain this discuss. Though dont think so as totally different.

How will collin surpass dallas county? Dallas county has a lot of major established players up north that can take advantage of all collin county is doing.

The one major thing hurting dallas is south dallas city, and county. If south dallas blacks would get out of their own way then things would be no way comparable.

If dallas can get a mayor that can work with that area, but not appease them then collin has no chance to "surpass" dallas.

Yeah because there are business areas like that all over the metroplex. It doesn’t make all of those the de facto Dallas.

Collin county north of 380 is either barren or neighborhoods with most of it planned to be neighborhoods. When you have all that land turning into lots on top of each other, it’s not a shock.

Projections that far out arent dependable.

Based off of collin county pop estimates for 2017 it's at least 2 yrs behind. As it's suppose to hit a million by 14/15 and it's just hitting it now in '18. Kind of hard to trust projected #s 30 yrs out when you cant hit the current #s they are in.

Not bashing collin as I grew up near up that way, but different development plans. Collin needs Dallas more than the reverse.

Only thing that Collin has is better leadership. Less ghettos to deal with, and mostly white development. But lots of non-texans moving in to that area forcing their old habits on the area. This will eventually catch up to the area, and will put it in with Dallas regarding "crap" it needs to deal with to get stuff done.
