Mid-Afternoon Saturday New Orleans Drinking Spot

Any ideas for a quality mid-afternoon drinking spot in New Orleans for a group of around 20 people in mid-30s? Looks like there will be rain. Courtyard looks like a good spot but also looks to be limited venue given bad weather. Anywhere in the city would work.

Bayou Beer Garden at 326 N. Jeff Davis Pkwy. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with protected areas if raining. Lots of TV's for the sports fans, average drink pricing.
Large indoor venue at Shamrock on S. Carrollton and Tulane Ave. Cavernous place with lots of pool tables, ping-pong tables, dart boards, etc. Huge selection of beer on tap too.
ETA: Mid-City Yacht Club in the 400 block of S. St. Patrick St. Outdoor seating, medium size outdoor open room, fair size bar with about 15 beers on tap, decent drink prices, lots of TV's and good bar food.
Finn McCool's on Banks St. and S. Telemachus, also in Mid-City. Roomy Irish Pub, reasonable pricing and food if needed. Lots of TV's for the sports minded.

What does quality mean? Upscale, New Orleans vibe, mixologists, large beer menu, dive bar?

Not sure what you are looking for when you say “quality” and Courtyard inasmuch as the venue aspect.
That said, Cure Nola.

Cooter Brown's or NOLA Brewing.

Tchoup Yard can still work for you baws. It has a large bar with TVs in the back area of the property. It also has dank food from Karibu kitchen. His tachos are the tits.

Hate to self promote on TD, but a brewery tour is perfect for big group like yours. Trying to coral a group that size in NOLA is difficult. We’ll provide custom pickup and dropoff, take you to 3 breweries over a 3-hour period and each person receives 5 beers. And you have a New Orleans tour guide with you. Our limo bus holds up to 20

I’ve been to Shamrock a few times but it’s a strange suggestion for some afternoon drinks

A small quaint off the path bar called Oz. The odds are 1-2 ppl from your group will really like it more than others.
Edit: it’s a joke

Only suggested it because of the size and activities to be found in the venue. They definitely wouldn't be crowded in that old converted bowling alley.

Fat Harry's, Tchoup Yard, Delachaise, Cooter Browns if you want to be uptown
Rock and Bowl would be fun.
Lafitte's is my favorite place to be on a Saturday afternoon.

Those are all good night drinking spots, sure. Day drinking, I'd only put Molly's.

I guess I’ve exposed myself as an inappropriate dive bar day drinker.
