You could carve a realistic life size statue of him out of wood. Spending hours getting every little detail right from the grain of his birthmark to the muscle bulges in his uniform. Sanding and polishing each nook and crany for months. Then you have to spend a good amount of time at auctions and various charity events until you find a game worn jersey that still has his scent, put the jersey on the statue and then I spend all night cuddling and laughing with it. During the day time he sits patiently in my closet waiting for me to come home and honor him again and again. My silly little statue. My sweet little prince. I know he isn't real. But it feels so. Real. To. Me.
