Anyone know anything about Aranda meeting Clay Helton last night? Isn't Helton on the hot seat?

Clay Helton has already announced he is being retained

Do you have anything substantive to provide? A tweet? A link? A USC plane landing in BR yesterday? Anything?

His job is safe.

I am confused...why would Aranda leave to be DC at USC? Do you think USC would pay more than 2.5 mil to a DC?

USC planning on paying him more than Helton to be DC?

Aranda may apply pressure to CEO/Alleva to get a new OC. Rumors of talks or actual talks with other teams apply that pressure.
So lets get the rumors started and apply some pressure:
I heard Les is telling defense recruits in LA that Aranda is coming to Kansas.

I'd leave if I were Aranda. Isn't CA home for him?

Why would Aranda go coach for somebody who will be fired this time next year?

Why would Aranda leave? His defense just gave up 74 points and didn’t stop the other teams offense 8 time to win the game and everyone is blaming the loss on the offensive coordinator that scored 70 points.
I think Aranda is great for the record. He’s not irreplaceable and he is the highest paid DC in the country. If he wants to go somewhere else then bye. LSU has done everything they can to keep him happy. Financially and support. They hired him a second dB coach when other coaching needs probably could have been addressed.

I wish people would use more common sense before posting this. I've seen it over and over. THE GAME WENT INTO 7 OVERTIMES. By the nature of overtime LSU's offense doesn't score 70 UNLESS A&Ms offense scores 70.
Ensminger's offense was once again under 30 points in regulation (Aranda's defense helped us get past 30).

LSU scoring 70 should tell you how easy it is to score in OT

In order to take over as "interm" HC when the inevitable happens - like CEO did!

Not difficult to score when your drives start at the opponent's 25-yd line; the difficult part is getting from your 25-yd line to their 25-yd line!

actually it let A&M offense score the tying TD with 1:36 left in the game and no timeouts!
