What odds would you give ND in the playoff to win it all?

Assuming its Clemson, Bama/UGA, OU/OSU, ND
20/1?
Just looked it up on Vegasinsider. Here is the LINK
Guess first and see how close you get
OU is now at 16/1. Im assuming this is today and before we know who is in the game.
Bama is listed at 1/2. Seems ridiculously high odds considering Bama has to probably beat UGA to get in.

Well if you have that kind of money to make a bet like that, im assuming the huge payout youd get probably would just be more pocket change
*I read that as a $1500 bet lol nvm. Still a ballsy bet

Well if you give ND a 40% chance to beat Clemson and a 25% chance to beat Bama in the championship game, their odds of winning both games are less than 10%.

Pretty damn close to the Vegas odds

I think you would be right if the second game wasn’t contingent on the first game being won. Like if ND was scheduled to play Clemson then Bama in the regular season then the odds would be 10% they won both. But if ND loses to Clemson they don’t even have a shot to beat Bama, so I think that fact takes the odds to less than 10%.
I may be wrong about that though.

I'm not saying they don't belong in the playoffs, becaus their season speaks for itself and they have absolutely earned their way in, no argument from me there. But they simply aren't that great of a team, they remind me a good bit of 2012 in that they've won the games they're supposed to but will get thrashed come crunch time.
Bama would obliterate them, and clemson would win with relative ease. UGA would win by a few scores. OU would probably beat htem pretty soundly...honestly OSU is the only team I think they would be even with.

Saying this as a Notre Dame fan I would go with less than 5% to win it all...still have nightmares what of what Bama did to us last time. That said I would be optimistic about beating Clemson. I think the offensive line of ND would hold up well against the Clemson front, might need a few breaks but I can see beating Clemson. Bama not so much.

I'd maaaaybe take 30/1 odds but nothing less. 9/1 is ridiculous, they will get no action on that

Same as everyone else’s not named Bama, less than 1%. Bama is winning it all, everyone else is playing for second.

This plays right into an underdog's hand. It has happened many times when one team has been crowned too early. Just since 2000
2002 Miami
2005 USC
2006 OSU
It may not matter of course, but the #1 team going into the CFP hasn't won yet

Is negative odds allowed? Because I'm thinking -100

no, man, just no
it's exactly 10%.

only thing you were right about.
If they were automatically playing bama in the title and they had a 25% chance to win that game, then they would have a 25% chance to win the title.

Yeah I just looked up how to calculate it, you’re right.

ND winning 4 out of 10 against Clemson and 1 out of 4 against Bama both seem high. I would almost half each of them, something like 20% against Clemson and 10% against Bama.
I hated math, but I think that puts them 2% combined.
